On Thursday 24 February 2011, the Government of Belize, Ministry of Health had its 6th HRH Observatory Meeting at the Biltmore Hotel in Belize City.
This MOH HRH Observatory accomplished a great task.
We developed the 2011 HRH Operational Plan for the Ministry of Health's ongoing commitment to insure Belize has the best quality health care for Belize, and its population. It’s strategy: To insure Belize has the needed qualified medical and health staff to do the job. This includes: MOH Medical Staff (physicians, nurses, as well as the needed allied medical staff), MOH Health Staff (Environmental Health Inspectors, Public Health Nurses, Rural Health Nurses, Malaria Evaluators, Dental Assistants, Health Educators, Nutritionists, Pharmacists, Mental Health Coordinators, Drug Abuse Coordinators, and MOH Administrative Staff to do the job of providing quality primary, secondary, and expanding capacity for “tertiary” health care for all of Belize's inhabitants.
