The Foreign Service Officer, International relations of the Ministry of Health & Wellness is responsible for coordinating with regional and international organizations, and technical cooperation to support programs and projects in health. The office also assists, coordinates, and supports senior management and support staff representing the Ministry in meetings and discussions on all issues on International Cooperation in Health, and act as a technical advisor. In addition, the office serves as a liaise contact with countries such as Mexico, Cuba, Japan, the Republic of Taiwan, India; Regional Organizations such as the Central American Integration System (SICA) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM); and International Organizations such as United Nations through its resident agencies (PAHO/WHO, UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF).
